Important: This kit suits the Australian Holden 5.0L EFI V8. It does not suit VT models fitted with the later Gen III LS1 engine.

Under-Bonnet Performance for the Holden VT

The Yella Terra Stage 2 package is a complete water-to-air intercooled supercharger system developed specifically for Holden VT models fitted with the Holden 5.0L EFI engine.

Its low-profile design allows the Whipple 2.4L supercharger and intercooler assembly to fit neatly under the standard VT bonnet.

Featuring Whipple’s Gen 4 rotor technology, the system provides excellent throttle response, improved efficiency and the distinctive Whipple supercharger whine.

The 2.4L Whipple performs exceptionally well on standard and mildly modified 304ci engines, while its capacity and horsepower potential also make it an excellent choice for 355ci stroker combinations.

All major components are proudly manufactured and precision-machined by Yella Terra in Australia.

Independent Supercharger Drive

The supercharger operates through its own dedicated six-rib drive system. This prevents additional supercharger load from being applied to the VT’s existing accessory drive.

An optional eight-rib drive upgrade is available for higher-boost applications.

Water-to-Air Intercooler System

The Stage 2 package includes a complete water-to-air intercooler system designed to reduce and control intake-air temperatures under boost.

The system includes:

• Billet intercooler core
• Triple-pass front heat exchanger
• Heavy-duty electric water pump
• Billet coolant reservoir
• Required hoses and installation components

The intake manifold is pre-machined for the intercooler system without increasing the installed height of the supercharger.

Throttle-Body Compatibility

All Yella Terra intake manifolds are machined to the same specification and are designed specifically for:

• LS1 three-bolt 90 mm throttle bodies
• Peter Starr four-bolt 90 mm throttle bodies

Two additional mounting holes are provided to accommodate later LS3 throttle bodies. However, two of the LS3 mounting holes will need to be slotted for correct fitment.

The manifold is supplied with a maximum 90 mm throttle bore to ensure the LS1 and Starr throttle bodies seal correctly. Any throttle body larger than 90 mm will require the manifold bore to be professionally matched.

These are the only supported throttle-body options.

A throttle-body adaptor plate for the factory Holden two-bolt throttle body is available separately. However, a larger 90 mm throttle body is recommended to achieve the full performance potential of the system.

Supercharger Pulley Options

The kit is supplied standard with a 77 mm supercharger pulley.

Alternative pulley sizes are available separately:

• 74 mm
• 71 mm
• 67 mm
• 64 mm
• 61 mm

Pulley selection and the resulting boost level will depend on the engine capacity, compression ratio, camshaft, cylinder heads, exhaust system and crank-pulley diameter.

The engine must be professionally tuned for the selected pulley and boost level.

• Installation, fuel injectors and ECU tuning are not included.
• This kit suits Holden VT models fitted with the Holden 5.0L EFI V8 only.
• It does not suit VT models fitted with the Gen III LS1 engine.
• Boost pressure and power output will vary according to the complete engine combination.
• Smaller supercharger pulleys increase boost and may require additional engine, fuel-system and drive-system upgrades.
• Engine condition and suitability must be confirmed before installation.
• Professional installation and tuning are strongly recommended.
