Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads – Chevrolet & Ford Windsor

 Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads unlike standard cylinder heads that position the valves in traditional locations, the Twisted Wedge design repositions the intake and exhaust valves to reduce valve shrouding, improve airflow around the valve curtain area, and significantly increase cylinder filling efficiency.  The revised valve placement also changes the rocker arm geometry, which is why standard rocker systems are generally unsuitable for Twisted Wedge cylinder heads. To achieve correct valve tip sweep, valvetrain stability, and guide alignment, these heads require a dedicated rocker system such as the Yella Terra Platinum Single Shaft Rockers. The shaft-mounted design provides superior rigidity and accuracy compared to conventional stud-mounted rockers, ensuring precise valve control at high RPM and with increased valve spring pressures.
