HOLDEN V6 L67 VS–VY WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGER UPGRADE – STEALTH COVERT / TOWER OF TERROR

Holden L67 Already intercooled? Take the next step with Whipple twin-screw technology.

Designed for Holden 3.8L L67 V6 owners already running a Yella Terra Stealth Covert or Tower of Terror intercooler kit, this upgrade allows you to remove the factory Eaton M90 Roots blower and fit a 1.6L or 2.4L Axial Whipple twin-screw supercharger directly onto your existing kit.

Why upgrade to twin-screw technology?

The Whipple twin-screw design compresses air internally between its rotors before delivering it into the intake manifold. This provides an efficient platform for increased performance compared with the original M90 Roots blower.

  • Improved efficiency: Particularly beneficial at higher boost levels, where the factory M90 becomes less efficient.

  • Less heat generated: More efficient compression can deliver cooler discharge air at comparable operating conditions, reducing the heat your intercooler needs to remove.

  • More usable power potential: Improved efficiency can reduce the power consumed driving the supercharger for a given airflow and pressure.

  • Responsive power delivery: Retains the immediate response and strong low-speed torque associated with positive-displacement supercharging.

  • Room to grow: Choose a 1.6L or 2.4L compressor to suit your engine combination and performance goals.

Actual results depend on compressor selection, pulley ratio, boost level, engine specifications, fuel system and tuning.

Kit includes

  • 1.6L or 2.4L Axial Whipple Twin Screw Supercharger.

  • Supercharger drive extension.

  • Machined billet mounting plate to suit the selected 1.6L or 2.4L compressor.

  • Bypass valve.

  • Rear intake pipe for V6 applications.

  • 170ml bottle of supercharger oil.

  • All hardware required to bolt on the upgrade.

Throttle body configuration

LS1-style throttle body configuration only at this stage.

Optional accessories — sold separately

  • Fuel rail brackets — YT 3800FR8BRK-1: $395 including GST, to suit our YT 3800FR8BLK fuel rail kit.

  • Fuel rail kit — YT 3800FR8BLK: $995 including GST.

  • Supercharger pulleys: Choice of pulley diameters in 6-rib or 8-rib configurations to suit your belt drive and intended boost level.

Supercharger pulleys are not included in the upgrade kit. Please specify your required pulley size and rib configuration when ordering.

Fitment

For Holden VS–VY 3.8L L67 supercharged V6 applications already equipped with a compatible Yella Terra Stealth Covert or Tower of Terror intercooler kit.

This upgrade replaces the factory M90 supercharger while retaining your existing Yella Terra intercooler system. The Stealth Covert or Tower of Terror intercooler kit must already be fitted.
