Yella Terra RPM SERIES – Gen 3 Roller Rockers (YT 6798)

The YT 6798 Gen 3 RPM SERIES roller rocker set is engineered for high-revving street and street/strip performance engines, offering exceptional strength, precision, and reliability in a true bolt-on package. Rated to 400 lb maximum open spring pressure, these rockers deliver capability unmatched by any comparable factory-size bolt-down rocker system.

This set includes a combination of 8 inline and 8 offset arms, featuring an ultra-lightweight 5/16" roller tip precisely profiled to sit accurately on the valve tip. This design significantly improves valvetrain stability, reduces friction, and enhances valve control—making them ideal for RPM-focused applications where reduced mass is critical.

Manufactured and assembled in Australia, the RPM SERIES uses the same premium materials and component standards found in our Platinum race series. The CNC-machined billet arms are intricately balanced to promote valvetrain harmony, while aircraft-grade extruded aluminium construction aids in dissipating excess top-end heat.

Yella Terra’s true ratio design allows increased valve lift without relying solely on aggressive camshaft ramp rates—a proven approach adopted by many engine builders to reduce inertia loads on lifters and pushrods while improving durability and consistency.

The bolt-on shaft mount design secures both inlet and exhaust rockers to a common shaft, effectively doubling the clamp load and footprint with no cylinder head modification required. This results in tremendous rigidity and long-term reliability, especially when replacing worn factory stamped steel GMH rockers.

Additional features include:

• Oversize full-complement caged bearings designed specifically for oscillating loads

• Oversize precision-ground trunnions to minimise friction

• Chrome moly steel hardened and ground roller tips, positively retained by internal circlips

• Reduced valve tip and guide wear, quieter operation, improved lash stability, and lower maintenance requirements

Designed for hydraulic camshaft applications, this is the original Yella Terra “bolt-on” rocker system—simply remove the factory rocker gear and install the shaft assembly using the original mounting points. No machining, no modification, just outstanding rigidity and performance.

Ideal for harsh street and strip use, the RPM SERIES rockers are built to last and fully capable of supporting serious performance upgrades while retaining factory rocker cover clearance.
