Latest and greatest power upgrade for the Ford Boss V8 has just got better, with the introduction of the NEW Phase III version of the 2.4L Twin-Screw Whipple supercharger kit.  The Yella Terra Phase III Supercharger Kit combines stealth OEM fitment with serious performance gains. Featuring the latest Whipple 2.4L Twin Screw compressor, a purpose-built all-in-one cast manifold, and a host of airflow and cooling upgrades, this kit delivers maximum horsepower and Torque with minimal fuss. NEW PHASE III FEATURES:

Whipple 2.4L Twin Screw Supercharger (Latest Generation)

  • This next-gen Whipple unit delivers immediate boost response thanks to its twin-screw design, producing incredible torque off idle and sustained horsepower throughout the rev range. Proven performance gains for both street and track applications, with improved efficiency and reliability.

All-in-One Cast Aluminium Manifold

  • Unlike modular manifolds with multiple sealing surfaces, this single-piece cast design eliminates thermal hotspots and leak points. It keeps intake temps down, reduces assembly complexity, and provides robust, long-term reliability under high-boost conditions.

50% Larger Single-Pass Internal Intercooler Core

  • Significantly increases internal cooling capacity. Cooler intake air means denser oxygen, resulting in more efficient combustion, more power, and reduced risk of detonation — especially important under sustained high-load or high-ambient conditions.

What Rwkw do you see on a stock XR8, BF Ford GTP?

Depending on the age of engine and setup with factory Plenum, you should see over 50-60% power gains in power and torque depending on build,

 

Does the YT Larger Plenum and throttle body fit this kit and what's the benefits

Yes they do. When purchased separately they allows more air volume to improve the superchargers performance and efficiency -( more air more power)

 

Does the kit work with a Ford shaker

Yes it does and our design allows all model shakers to be compatible

 

Are there any modifications required

No modifications No cutting No grinding – fits under factory engine cover  

 

What Rwkw do you see on a Built Ford Boss Engine ?

Potentially over 420 rwkw ( on Pump gas) and over 470rwkw (E85)

 

Do I have to upgrade the Fuel Pump

Yes  its recommended -with bigger injectors it recommended a Higher volume drop in pump is used (Walbro 500 series).

 

What Fuel do we use on the kits?

Min 98 Octane will be required

 

What Boost does it produce as standard?

Boost pulley supplied allows between 7-10 psi depending on other engine modifications  

 

What boost Options do I have?

We have a range of smaller diameter bolt on pulleys that are available giving you higher or lower boost levels   

Independent drive system for easy bolt on bolt off pulley change

 

How do I tune it and what system do I use?

The kits can be tuned with Simple factory ECU Recalibration-eg SCT and HP Tuners

They are also compatible with Haltech or Motec System for more advanced tuning options.
