Applying this experience, Yella Terra are proud to announce the release of the new Chevrolet Small Block & Big Block billet steel explosion proof flexplate (YT 9929).
YT 9929 is designed for high performance Chevrolet Small Block & Big Block - 6 bolt crank engines equipped with Turbo 350/400 transmissions in both drag racing and tough street car applications.
Light and durable to avoid fretting often seen in OEM style and aftermarket pressed flexplates.
Meets ANDRA specification.

This flexplate has been specified to factory OEM starters so need to check measurements. Aftermarket starters can vary significantly in design and pinion throw-out position compared to OEM units, which may affect engagement depth with the flexplate. Differences between BBC engine generations—such as Mark IV versus Gen V/VI blocks, rear main seal styles (two-piece versus one-piece), and crank flange lengths—also influence starter alignment. Additionally, variations among Big Block Chevy crankshafts exist, with some aftermarket manufacturers producing slightly longer crank snouts or thicker flanges, further impacting starter and flexplate fitment. |
