Our Blackened Pedestal Adapters are used and recommended to adapt your existing set of 5/16" Shaft Mount Roller Rockers when they are being installed on a Cylinder Head that has had the Rocker Mounting Posts Machined for 7/16".
Adaptors are typically used for heads that have had factory posts already machined lower by approx. 0.300" and have 7/16 UNC threads.
